Proud of our traditions,
preparing for their future
Welcome to St. Paul’s; a world class school in Brazil and the first South American School to be recognised by the UK government as a British School Overseas.
We are very proud of our strong heritage, traditions and values but are constantly looking forward, seeking to innovate and improve at every age and stage for every one of our pupils. Excellent teaching and learning and the very best pastoral care and co-curricular provision lie at the very heart of the school. With our bicultural and bilingual Anglo-Brazilian curriculum, we embrace both cultures and languages. We have a strong set of shared values which shape and nurture the experience that our pupils enjoy. We are a family school with around 1,000 boys and girls, aged 3 to 18. They are all finding their way on their exciting learning journey, brilliantly supported by dedicated teachers, staff and the wider school community of parents and Old Pauleans.
It is our aim to discover the passion and talents of every pupil, and create the right environment to develop these. Pupils leave us confident, assured and well prepared for an exciting life, and a multitude of opportunities, often at top universities both in Brazil and abroad. Pauleans are many things, but most of all they are themselves. It is this which prepares them for the unknown and an exciting life in the world beyond school.
I hope that you find our website helpful and informative; please do contact us for a visit if you would like to know more. I look forward to meeting you and I know you will enjoy meeting our boys and girls and hearing from them about what they love about being a Paulean.
