Lions for life
In our 2015 BSO inspection report, the inspectors picked up on the active role that Old Pauleans play within the school community – a role which enriches the school’s tapestry of multi-generational family relationships. Whether coming to the school to run workshops and lectures, visiting to have lunch and catch up with favourite teachers, or whether hosting our pupils for work experience placements, our alumni are valued, integral members of the St. Paul’s pride of lions.
Our pupils enjoy engaging with them, and are inspired by their stories of how the solid Paulean values have prepared them for exciting lives beyond the school walls.
With 90 years of rich history, there are many memories to be shared and celebrated. The Old Paulean Society was officially established in August 2000, with the aim of developing relationships with our large alumni base and facilitating communications between Old Pauleans and the school.
We run a programme of social and sports events throughout the year where we encourage Old Pauleans to come and reconnect with friends and former teachers; we always look forward to meeting them and hearing from them. Old Pauleans’ Day, usually in May, offers an informal opportunity for our alumni to come and spend the day at the school, and enjoy good food and company, as well as a football game or two. We also hold regional reunions – there was a very successful one in London in October 2013 and we are hoping to hold another very soon.

We are always delighted to hear what our Old Pauleans are up to now, and especially enjoy receiving photos from their time at school. We hope you will use the form to share your stories with us – the best photos and stories will be published on our website.
Mrs Carmen Sapsezian, Old Paulean Secretary, is always pleased to hear from Old Pauleans who wish to keep in contact with the School. You can contact her as follows:
