St. Paul's Centenary Guestbook

Welcome to St. Paul's Centenary Guestbook
Wether you have been with us from our earliest days, or joined our community recently, your thoughts mean the world to us
As we reach the milestone of 100 years of St. Paul's, we warmly invite members of our community - staff, parents, teachers, pupils, Old Pauleans - to leave a message to mark this occasion.
A school is only made by those who build it everyday. Every person, together, creates what being a Paulean truly means. Guided by our values of Aspiration, Adventure, Inclusion, Integrity, Responsibility and, above all, Kindness, we trust that the legacy we build together will continue for many more years to come.
Join us as we step into our second century, and take this moment to honour our legacy, but also imagine - and create, together - what lies ahead in the future.
We learned about the tribute the school is paying to our Uncle Kenneth Grantham and we are deeply grateful for remembering this brave warrior who helped preserve our freedom. Thank you very much.
- Richard, nephew of Old Paulean
I have such fond memories of my time as Deputy Headmaster at St. Paul's from 2009 to 2016. The school and the country have a special place in my heart. I was fortunate to work under two outstanding heads, Crispin Rowe and Louise Simpson, who taught me invaluable lessons about leadership. St. Paul's was my first overseas appointment, and I was privileged to work alongside wonderful colleagues who had such positivity. For my final couple of years, I was there during the huge building project that brought us the new library, art & music studios, science laboratories, and underground sports centre - a truly significant chapter in the school's history. Congratulations to St. Paul's on reaching 100 years, and here's to many more.

Forever grateful for the memories, friendships, and lessons this school gave me. It shaped who I am today, and I’ll always carry a piece of it with me.

I will always cherrish my years at St. Paul's!

I am writing to express the immense pride I feel in being an old paulean from the Class of 2010. Graduating from this remarkable school was one of the greatest achievements of my life, especially as the first dyslexic student to complete my studies at St Paul’s. This milestone was only possible thanks to the support, academic excellence, and welcoming environment I always found here.
I continue to hold the school very close to my heart. I take great joy in attending many of its events, and I hope to remain involved for many years to come. St Paul’s has been and continues to be, an important part of my story, and I am truly grateful for all that I experienced and learned.
- Sofia, Old Paulean, Class of 2010
My connection to St. Paul's began with my grandfather, and it has been a privilege to see this bond continue through generations. As a proud former Paulean, and now as a grateful parent of two current Pauleans, I feel deeply honored to be part of this enuring community. It brings me great joy to see my children grow within the same values and spirit that shaped our family, and to witness the school's remarkable journey - preserving its traditions, embracing innovation, and fostering an inclusive community that welcomes everyone.
- Eduarda, Old Paulean, Class of 2005
St Paul's was a part of my life for 22 years and I hold so many special memories of my time here as an educator, a mother and friend to many. I feel very lucky to have spent so many formative years and have the best memories of my time on Rua Juquiá, parabéns aos seus cem anos, St. Paul's!
