A warm welcome to St. Paul's

We are the British School of São Paulo. We welcome applications from pupils of all nationalities, cultures and backgrounds.

Each year, we receive more applications than there are available places. While we would like to welcome all families who express interest in joining our community, space limitations mean that not all applicants can be offered assessment or admission. Our admissions process is therefore guided by clear, impartial criteria to ensure fairness and transparency.

Applications are reviewed by our Admissions Committee.

As a British international school, our mission includes ensuring that British and international families relocating to or living in Brazil have access to high-quality education. For this reason, our admissions process prioritises British and international applicants. This approach allows us to remain true to our founding purpose while embracing a diverse school community that includes Brazilian families.

Important notes

Applications are now open for the academic year 2026-2027.

Following our admissions criteria, international pupils are eligible to apply year-round.

International families

Our admissions team provides one‑to‑one guidance on next steps, ensuring a smooth transition for international families and pupils.
