In line with the best of British education, we firmly believe in the importance of educating the whole child. We want every one of our pupils to be good people who make valuable contributions to their community and the wider world. PSHE (Pastoral, Social and Health Education) is an integral part of the topics studied. Through it, we focus specifically on important issues such as e-safety, citizenship and bullying.
Consistent approaches to behaviour though the Golden Rules and Quality Circle time ensure that our pupils learn right from wrong and are able to accept responsibility for their actions. Class assemblies, an important time for sharing, are also linked to the PSHE curriculum. They give pupils the opportunity to demonstrate their increasing awareness of social and moral codes. Our pupils’ ingenuity and creativity on these occasions are truly admirable.
